Everything began when an illustrated cat appeared on the official Facebook page of Goyang City. The page had only around two thousand followers at the time, but within just twenty four hours of updating the profile picture, the internet reacted with surprising enthusiasm. The cat’s transformation from a symbol of bad luck into a lovable mascot sparked a wave of curiosity and joy. People from within the city, across the country, and even from around the world started engaging with the feline characters.
