Hi, my name is Lam Pham.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I enjoy creating and sharing interesting designs, which is probably obvious if you've spent even a few minutes exploring this site. I live with my family near My Khe Beach in the beautiful coastal city of Da Nang, Vietnam. I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, and besides running Paper Iconic, I manage a small Etsy shop where I sell digital shadow box designs while also working in the communications field.
When I'm away from my desk, you'll usually find me cycling along the coastline, reading a good book, or thinking about getting back onto a badminton court. To be honest, it's been quite a while since I last picked up a racket, so if we ever played today, you'd probably just see a slightly older and much slower version of my younger self. Laughs.
My journey with Paper Iconic began in 2013 after discovering the incredible artistic paper toys created by designers from around the world. At the time, traditional papercraft models were becoming increasingly popular, while many creative paper toy designs seemed to receive far less attention than they deserved. That inspired me to create a small Facebook page called Paper Toys to introduce these works to more people.
Over the years, that little community gradually evolved into Paper Iconic, a place where I can share, introduce, and support papercraft designers and the inspiring projects they create. Every model featured here is carefully credited to its original author because I believe the creativity behind each design deserves recognition and appreciation.
As you explore the projects on this blog, I hope you'll discover something that sparks your imagination, encourages you to build something with your own hands, and reminds you that creativity can begin with nothing more than a few sheets of paper.
