Hello, fellow creators of Paper Iconic! Are you ready for another exciting project today?

Today, I want to share a Where Winds Meet papercraft project released by Tricks of Paper, inspired by the martial arts game Where Winds Meet (WWM).

Where Winds Meet is a Wuxia open-world game with an impressive amount of content, yet it is completely free to play. The developers have publicly committed to keeping pay-to-win elements out of the game, and so far, they have maintained that promise very well. Because of this, the game has been gaining massive attention within the gaming community, even among those who have not fully experienced it yet.

I personally have not had the chance to play Where Winds Meet. However, while researching the game, one character stood out immediately. A chubby little bird wearing traditional Wuxia-style accessories appears frequently in the tutorial menu and informational sections. It seems to act as a guide for new players, and it also shows up regularly on the game’s social media channels whenever announcements are made. Due to its repeated presence and charming design, this bird, commonly referred to as Yanji, is often considered the mascot of Where Winds Meet.

Thanks to the strong popularity of the game and Yanji’s irresistibly cute appearance, Tricks of Paper, the creator behind the “Bear Tissue Box Papercraft,” recreated this character as a papercraft model. This Where Winds Meet papercraft version of Yanji requires 1 sheet of paper and comes as a printable PDF template. The template is ready for color printing and does not include edge IDs, making it slightly more challenging for builders who enjoy a hands-on assembly experience. A video tutorial is also available below to help guide you through the construction process.

If you have already played Where Winds Meet or know more details about Yanji’s role in the game, feel free to share your insights in the comments. I would love to learn more from the community.
