In the world of Overwatch, Bastion is not just a professional combat robot but also a character with an emotional story and an understanding of the surrounding world. Bastion, a robot amidst the chaos of the Omnic Crisis, has undergone a journey from warfare to awakening and an understanding of its environment.

After the conclusion of the Omnic Crisis, many Omnic robots, including Bastion, were powered down to avoid any threats to humanity. However, Bastion did not completely power off; instead, it went through an "awakening" process, where it began to learn and understand the world around it.

In its quest for discovery and awakening, Bastion encounters a special companion named Ganymede – a small, yellow bird. In contrast to the image of Bastion's automated destruction in Sentry Mode, its relationship with Ganymede is often seen as a symbol of humanity and affection. Ganymede is not just a companion but also a helper in connecting Bastion with the outside world in a gentle and loving manner.

For fans of the game Overwatch and this special relationship, keep an eye on Forsythia's paper model of SD Bastion. In this project, Bastion and its companion Ganymede are transformed into one entity, a mechanical bird with a Gatling gun on its back.

The SD Bastion Papercraft measures 15 cm in height when completed and lacks articulation. The template consists of 7 pages, simple in design but requires attention to certain issues. The leg part should be reinforced with a rigid material inside, adding additional weight to the tail for gravitational balance. To make the SD Bastion papercraft more flexible, you can use magnets in the neck area or utilize a small string or toothpick to customize the joint in the bird's wings. Stimulate creativity and showcase your customization skills. Best of luck!
