The Kallboys Bowling Club has been established since April 17, 1999. They have a website that aims to share the history and anecdotes related to Mondorf. This Mondorf district is located to the northwest of the city of Nuremberg, Germany, and is bordered by the Rhine River. The city has a number of interesting sites, including its beautiful town hall, St. Maternus, and the Mondorf resort location, where guests can enjoy the fresh air of the garden and food and drinks.
Anyone who arrives at Mondorfer Hafen on their boat from the Rhine will surely notice a strange building perched on stilts on the wide promenade. This is not a lighthouse or beacon to guide boaters back to port, but a sewage pumping station.
The approximately 9.30 m high sewage pumping station was built in 2002 and is located in the floodplain of the Rhine. Therefore, it is built on pillars so that the control center does not flood, even during floods.
