JT Biohistory Research Hall was officially established in April 1993 in Takatsuki, Osaka and prefecture and opened to visitors in November of that year. Their organization consists of a Laboratory Area, where they conduct experimental research, and a Media & Production Area, where they demonstrate scientific ideas and findings.
Biohistory is a multidisciplinary field that seeks to explore the connections between human health and history. The institute conducts research on various topics, including the evolution of human diseases, the effects of historical events on human health, and the impact of lifestyle and environment on health.
