It feels like hbr_ppkr296 is not done with Inazuma Eleven just yet. Shortly after releasing the Mark Krueger papercraft model I featured recently, the creator has returned with another football-themed project, this time featuring Shimozuru Arata.
In the Inazuma Eleven universe, Shimozuru Arata appeared for both Mikage Sennou and Neo Japan during his football career. Whether leading the attack or contributing from midfield, he was part of the colorful cast of players that gave the series its distinctive football atmosphere.
Unlike the previous Mark Krueger model, which captured the excitement of a goal celebration, this new papercraft takes a much cuter approach. hbr_ppkr296 has once again used their signature chibi style, featuring oversized proportions and the distinctive large eyes set deep within the eye sockets that many fans of the creator's work will immediately recognize. The result is a model that feels charming and playful while still remaining faithful to the character.
The finished papercraft stands approximately 14 cm tall, including its paper display base. The model is constructed from 62 individual parts and requires 3 sheets of A4 paper along with a color printer. The download package includes PNG files for printing and PDO files for assembly reference, making it easier to follow the build process.
As with many of hbr_ppkr296's projects, the template is distributed completely free through the creator's BOOTH store.
For readers who discovered Inazuma Eleven through the anime, it is worth remembering that the franchise originally began as a football-themed RPG game released in 2008 before expanding into one of the most recognizable football anime series of its generation.
