Hello, fellow creators of Paper Iconic! Are you ready for another exciting showcase today?

I've been quite busy writing some reports lately, so this post is coming out a little later than planned. But here we are, in Showcase #2, let’s check out the Zinogre papercraft built by the hunter Nghĩa Lê from Vietnam.

Just look at that fur! From a distance, would you ever guess this creature is made of paper? Share your answer in the comments below.

Nghĩa crafted this model using the template shared by WR Papercraft. When printed on A4 paper, the full-size version stands about 40 cm tall, 69 cm wide, and 85 cm long, requiring 44 sheets in total. I think Nghĩa scaled it down a bit and added his own creative touch by using cotton for the fur, giving the beast from Monster Hunter Saga a more lifelike and majestic look.

The cotton was shaped and layered carefully, making the fur appear soft and full of motion. He also colored the paper edges to hide the white borders, a small but effective detail that really polishes the whole piece. Personally, I’d trim the chest fur a bit to give the beast a lighter, more refined look, but that’s just my take.

Enough talking, let's take a closer look at the amazing build!
