Hello, fellow creators of Paper Iconic! Are you ready for another exciting project today?
The Rottweiler, named after the town of Rottweil in Germany, is a breed admired for its loyalty, confidence, and gentle devotion beneath that powerful build. That loyal spirit was exactly what inspired me to create the Rottweiler Low Poly Papercraft, a piece that brings this beloved companion to life in clean geometric form.
Rottweilers are happiest when they have something to do, a walk, a game, or simply staying close to their favorite person. This papercraft version carries that same steady presence. It may not wag its tail or follow you around, but it brings a steady, comforting presence wherever it stands.
The finished model is 25 cm tall and was made from 6 sheets of paper with 50 parts, forming bold, angular lines that capture the Rottweiler’s unmistakable stance.
The PDF, SVG, and DXF templates are included, making it easy to choose between hand-cutting or using a cutting machine. You’ll also find a PDO reference file that shows exactly how each piece fits together, so every step feels clear and rewarding.
For the best look, I recommend using textured cardstock, which adds depth and a subtle tactile quality, making your model look more refined and sculptural. And if you’d like a larger model, simply print the templates on bigger paper sizes such as A3, or adjust the scale in the PDO file.
