Hello, fellow creators of Paper Iconic! Are you ready for another exciting project today?
Today, Paper Iconic brings you a papercraft set featuring both the Red Bull RB21 and Max Verstappen from the 2025 F1 season. Created by papercraft artists Sunny78 and Suraj, this collection lets you build both the car and its driver at home.
Sunny78 delivers the RB21 car at 1:12 scale, requiring 16 sheets of A4 paper. Once complete, it measures 9 cm high, 17 cm wide, and 44 cm long. Meanwhile, Suraj brings Verstappen to life with a papercraft figure standing 19 cm tall, built from just 2 sheets of A4 paper. Together, they recreate the moment of Max Verstappen celebrating his victory at the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.
Even better, both models come with PDF and PDO files, so you can either print or visualize the assembly in Pepakura. Sunny78 goes the extra mile by also providing a DXF file, perfect for those who want to cut the pieces using a machine for added precision.
Behind the Victory: Red Bull's Challenging 2025 Season
Despite Max's exceptional talent in steering the RB21 to victory at the Japanese Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing's 2025 season tells a troubling story. Nearly all senior staff have left the team, leaving them heavily dependent on their world champion driver.
The RB21, like Red Bull's recent cars, has become notoriously difficult to handle. Since 2019, drivers have consistently complained about these cars being extremely hard to control. The car's weight is heavily concentrated at the front, making the rear end very unstable, especially through medium and low-speed corners. The rear aerodynamics also make it nearly impossible to keep the rear tires at the right temperature.
While Max typically prefers front-heavy cars, even he has criticized the extreme design approach of recent Red Bull cars. For the past two years, he's been complaining about how difficult they are to drive while defending his struggling teammates.
These problems started back in 2022, but Red Bull admits they didn't fully grasp how bad things were because Max's brilliant driving hid the issues. The strained relationship between Max's father and Red Bull Racing only adds to the team's uncertain future. Time will tell if Red Bull can recover or if this marks the beginning of their downfall.
For now, F1 fans can channel their passion into building these impressive papercraft models. Grab the Max Verstappen & RB21 papercraft templates today and start your creative journey!
