Chiyou is a prominent figure in East Asian mythology, often viewed with varied perspectives, either as a positive or negative character. Whether considered a mythical or historical figure remains undetermined. Numerous records indicate that he is revered as a war deity in various regions of China and Korea.

Today's article will bring readers to the Chiyou paper model with a design inspired by the SD style. In this project, the initial design concept originated from Curry & Ca-Long, then Lee Huyn Sung carried out the 3D modeling process, and finally, Cream Bread did the remake. The final template to be shared consists of a 28-page PDF file and assembly instructions with images.

According to legend, Chiyou was the leader of the Miaomiao tribe, one of the ancient tribes. He is depicted as a powerful character, proficient in magic, and skilled in combat with sharp weapons.

The legendary battle between Chiyou and Huangdi, the first emperor of China, is regarded as a crucial historical confrontation. Huangdi's victory marked the establishment of the Xia dynasty, one of the earliest in Chinese history.

In Korean culture, Chiyou is known as Chiwoo Cheonwang. His image often appears in shrines and folk art. He is frequently associated with the depiction of the Red Devil, a symbol representing victory. This symbol is so famous to the extent that South Korean citizens might be suspected of espionage if they don't know about it.
