The Upper Rank Three, Akaza, despises Doma for two reasons: Doma preys on women – a target Akaza refuses to harm, and he climbed to the position of Upper Rank Two despite joining the Kizuki much later than Akaza. In the eyes of the Upper Rank One, Kokushibo, Doma resembles a lower-tier lackey, lacking the warrior's demeanor that Akaza possesses. As for the demoness Nakime, she bluntly rejects Doma's romantic advances. Thus, it's not only Muzan who detests Doma, but even the other fellows within the Kizuki hold him in utter disdain.
Muzan Kibutsuji often kills his subordinates when he feels displeased. However, in Doma's case, he allows this demon the freedom to act as he pleases—to lead the cult of the Eternal Paradise Faith. Doma exploits this cult to lure and devour female disciples, turning them into a part of his own body. His preference for selecting such prey likely contributes to his rapid empowerment, as he has remarked that women are nourishing sustenance for demons. It's Doma's exceptional strength that enables him to withstand Muzan's occasional bouts of fury.
