The paper toys are all very simple, just 1 to 2 sheets of A4 paper and the theme revolves around dogs or some other cute creatures on their vehicles.
She is also interested in social issues, especially Pride Day. Pride Day, also known as LGBT Pride Month, is a time of celebration and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. It is a month-long commemoration held annually in the month of June, during which events and activities are organized to promote the rights, visibility, and equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals.
The history of Pride Day can be traced back to June 28, 1969, when a police raid on the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in New York City, sparked a series of riots and protests by the LGBTQ+ community against police brutality and discrimination. The following year, the first Pride Parade was organized in New York City, marking the first anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
Since then, Pride Day has evolved into a global celebration of diversity and inclusion, with parades, marches, rallies, and festivals held in major cities around the world. It is a time for LGBTQ+ individuals to come together, celebrate their identities, and raise awareness about the ongoing struggles for equality and justice.
Pride Day is not just about celebrating the progress that has been made, but also about acknowledging the work that still needs to be done. LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face discrimination, violence, and marginalization in many parts of the world, and Pride Day serves as a reminder of the ongoing fight for equal rights and acceptance.
